Soccer Tourney in Clarksville August 23rd
Great Saturday start and a not so very great Sunday finish. But we live to play another week.

The Great Smokie Mountains
Last Thursday, we decided to take a short trip to Pigeon Forge to see, among other things, the Great Smokie Mountains:
We all had a great time.
Let me just say...here's the boy:
The kids were a little goofy...
But this dude helped keep them in line:

Condi is getting older
Condi is getting old and over the hill. She's no longer the cute innocent puppy she was two long weeks ago. I mean...14 weeks old is almost 2 years old in human years!
Of course, it doesn't help that potty training hasn't been going swimmingly...

Pictures from Saturday
Invaders in the neighborhood. From parts North and East.
Spying on our noble steed?
...or our secret bunny rabbits ops...
...or not...
Condoleezza just did something bad though...

Condoleezza Buttercup Kim
I swore I would never get one of these...
Call her "Condi" for short.

Catching up with the kids
So during the course of a year, many things can happen.
Another year of basketball can fly by for Lindsay...
Here she is in January. I don't remember if they won this game or not.
...and here is the boy!
Drew has got his elbow nice and high!
As for Willow...well...this should be a sign of things to come.

WOW Quiet for OVER ONE YEAR!
I think in any economy, that qualifies as a waste of money on web hosting!
I guess that merits a slew of updates...
Lindsay
Lindsay is now officially a soccer player. She finished her first year with the Brentwood Soccer Club U9 Travel Team and she improved tremendously.
Lindsay's first love is basketball. I don't know where the basketball pictures are. I know we kept them, but I think they are upstairs somewhere.
Ridiculous.
This summer, Lindsay is playing indoor soccer, Summer Developmental League basketball and in July...Nike Elite Hoops Camp. There have been some discussions about golf and tennis lessons, but nothing has materialized yet.
Drew
Drew is our resident scholar and baseball player. Recently he and the rest of the crew have been chasing rabbits.
There is a rumor floating around that an irresponsible father offered $1,000 to the first Kim child who could catch one of these.
Right. So anyway...can't believe everything you hear.
Willow
A very tall three year old. That thing that she's holding is an imaginary animal. I want to say she got that from the TN Aquarium.
Ok. I guess the website is back. It has sort of been put on the back burner as the Kim Family experiments with Club Penguin, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter (why am I following P Diddy anyway?). More to come.
We'll keep it under a year...maybe.

Rockin' in the Playroom
Wow- can't believe we haven't posted any pictures in 6 months. Nothing too terribly exciting has happened since then. Our dear 25-pound cat Cappuccino died a month ago. Willow started talking up a storm a few weeks ago and can now say "
Car" , "
Cat" and"
Cup
Cake". Even though it's easier to understand her, it's bittersweet! I sured loved hearing her speaking "Willownese". Drew officially graduated from kindergarten and played baseball this spring. This is the first sport he's really enjoyed and he did well! Lindsay is playing basketball this summer and will start travel soccer in August (can you imagine how fun it will be to play soccer in August in Tennessee?
We just got the Guitar Heros III game for the Wii and we all now think we should be in a rock band. Drew is a self-proclaimed "Korean Rocker Dude". Willow just got a tattoo (see the picture below) and Lindsay's favorite song is "Slow Ride". The other day while Willow was playing the "guitar" she said, "Mama, this Barraccuda?" I about fell out of my chair!
She worked up such a sweat that she stripped down to her diaper!
I hope this isn't a sign of the future!
Drew wants to audition for American Idol in the fall.

Hockey in Nashville!
Lindsay and Drew are participating in a free 4-week hockey clinic sponsored by the Nashville Predators. They were so excited the night before the first practice that they would've slept in their equipment if we had let them. They are enjoying their time on the ice and wish it were longer. They both want to get into hockey but, since the sport isn't cheap, mommy and daddy want to be sure that they really enjoy it before we make the big plunge.
She shoots, she scores:

First Piano Recital
Lindsay and Drew had their very first piano recital yesterday. Lindsay was nervous but they both said that they had fun. Lindsay played "Angels We Have Heard on High" and "Turkish March". Drew sang "You Are My Sunshine" while accompanying himself on the piano. He also played "Up On The House Top". Drew received rave reviews for his snowman tie! Thanks to Miss Jen for being such a great teacher.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our family and friends. Drew is thankful for "Jesus always forgiving us when we do bad stuff". Lindsay is thankful for "all my friends, especially Audrey, Abby and Connelly". Both are thankful for "God's world". Willow is thankful for "chocolate". Mommy and daddy are thankful for a healthy family!
